Fadogia Agrestis is an herb that has been used in African folk medicine for centuries. Now, it’s a relatively new ingredient to the supplement market that’s quickly gaining a lot of attention.
With testosterone levels of men dropping at an alarming rate worldwide, the hunt for effective testosterone and libido boosters has never been higher. Researchers are looking into plants that have been used in ancient medicine to help men become more virile. Modern science rediscovered Fadogia Agrestis this way.
Native to Nigeria, Fadogia Agrestis is a shrub that has been used in traditional African medicine as a pro-erectile agent. The stems of the Fadogia Agrestis plant contains alkaloids and saponins that have the potential for alleviating symptoms of erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, and decreased sex drive.
Let’s look at what the scientific community thinks about this plant.
What Science Says About Fadogia Agrestis
Increases in Libido in test subjects:
One study published in the Asian Journal of Andrology found that Fadogia Agrestis supplementation significantly boosted libido, sexual interest, and dominant behavior in rats. [1]
All the doses resulted in significant increase in mount frequency, intromission frequency and significantly prolonged the ejaculatory latency (P 0.05) and reduced mount and intromission latency (P 0.05).
Increases in Testosterone:
The researchers predicted that the reason for the dramatic improvement in sexual function was a spike in testosterone. Blood tests showed that there was in fact a direct increase in serum testosterone levels in the group that took the Fadogia Agrestis supplement. [1]
There was also a significant increase in serum testosterone concentrations in all the groups in a manner suggestive of dose-dependence (P 0.05).
Human Equivalent Dosage
In the aforementioned study, male rats were given 12mg/kg oral Fadogia Agrestis supplements, and their sexual behavior parameters and serum testosterone concentration were evaluated at days 1, 3 and 5.
Let’s calculate the human equivalent dosages using Equation 1.
Equation 1:
Human Equivalent Dose (mg/kg) = Animal dosage (mg/kg) × (Weightanimal [kg]/Weighthuman [kg])^(1–0.67)
For a 90kg human:
Human Equivalent Dose (HED) (mg/kg) = Animal dosage (mg/kg) x (0.15kg/90kg)^0.33
HED (mg/kg) = Animal dosage (mg/kg) x 0.1211
Human equivalent dosage (mg/kg) = 18mg/kg x 0.211
Human equivalent dosage (mg/kg) = 3.798 mg/kg
For a 90kg (roughly 200-pound human), this equates to a human equivalent dosage of 341.8 mg.
Some products only contain 500mg of Fadogia per serving, which can work for many people. N2generate contains 1,000mg per serving of Fadogia Agrestis, along with 7 other ingredients. This large dose of Fadogia can benefit any hard-training athlete who’s using chemical enhancement.
What About Human Results?
HCGenerate has been sold for almost a decade, and the formula has remained unchanged. Almost every steroid-using athlete who has tried it has reported great results using HCGenerate.
